We've missed you Padstow! 🌊

Oh Padstow, we have missed you. We love being situated in this picturesque seaside town. So many happy memories. Gazing at the harbour on your walk to work. Devouring a Pasty on our lunch break and best of all, seeing our lovely neighbours in the town. You don't realise how special a place, person or walk is until it's taken away from you!

The team here at Aloft couldn't have been happier to hear the news that we can once again, reopen. Yay! Whoop! Eek!

(I'm just here doing a little happy dance thinking about it!)

 

We will be back open just in time for all of the festivities and excitement of Christmas. Although for anyone working in the hospitality and retail industry this time is a little chaotic. It is equally, so much fun and is a real buzz!

We are really hoping that people will shop more locally this year. Supporting small, family run businesses that are in your county or are personal to you.

We hope you can support people that are bravely fulfilling their dreams and ambitions.

 

We'd love for more people to use their local grocer, florist or butcher, rather than always using the big name supermarkets and/or only shopping with big brands online.

Your money talks and says a lot about who you are as a person. So please spend your hard earned money, wisely and thoughtfully.

Every customer is so precious to a small business!

We want to share the love this year too and introduce to you a few of our favourite brands and shops we have in Padstow. We hope you might like to support them too.

 

Launched only this year, on 18th April 2020.

Brand new for August 2020, our Tasting Room on Duke Street is a large and airy space in what was the Old Post Office. Here we have the same mix of retail and seated drinking as Broad Street, with the addition of a modest food offering.
There are a number of tables and seating areas that can take between two and six guests, so pop in with your social group/bubble and relax away from the crowds. "

"Based in the heart of Cornwall, and only a stone’s throw from the picturesque fishing harbour, Padstow Gallery sets out to showcase a select portfolio of contemporary British artists & craftsmen.

Being based in Cornwall has certainly influenced the style of the gallery which focuses around the concept of 'edges' and 'boundaries' - where land meets sky – a celebration of the flora and fauna of our countryside, and ruggedness of our natural coastline"
