Spring styling

Finding it tricky to know what to wear as we move into Spring? us too, it starts off chilly in the morning and then by lunchtime you're wishing you'd worn shorts! Don't worry we have plenty of top tips to get your outfits right for these in-between days.

1st - LAYER UP

The easiest way to be ready for all weather is to layer up. For casual days start with a lightweight jersey item, then add a piece of knitwear and then a colourful scarf. This not only adds some new season print and colour, but is great for keeping chills away and keeping your neck and shoulders extra warm.

2nd - ACCESSORIZE!

The next best advice we have is to be ready with your handy accessories. Whether its a scarf to go with your cardi (as above) or a pair of sunglasses and a cap that can easily popped in a bag. Make sure you have it all to hand.

At this time of year we aren't used to being out in the sun as much, and especially at the beach or near the sea you can easily find yourself squinting if you don't have the right pair. This season we have added a range of our best-selling A Kjaerbede glasses that we have stocked in store for a couple of years now. We also have a new range of unisex Aloft caps. We love them for hiding under on a bad hair day, and also for keeping the sun off our faces when we're out on the water and around the coast. They are pre-washed and have one of our small logo badges at the front, and in a rainbow of colours - there's one to go with any outfit.

3rd - KEEP THE WIND OUT!

If you know us well you won't get far in one of our shops without us recommending a windproof knit. Made by Holebrook of Sweden, the jackets are knitted to the outside and then lined with a nylon fabric which keep the wind (and windchill) out. This season they come in an array of colours and styles and for both mens and ladies. We love them all!
