This Black Friday we will once again be running our Shop independent | Support Local campaign.
We decided last year that we wanted to try and do something different to all the corporate shops on our high street and the big online retailers, who bombard us all with Black Friday deals. So we came up with a plan that would help our local community and environment as well as giving our customers the chance to shop with us at a discount.
So we offer 20% off across the stores, but we then pledge to give 5% of our profits from the campaign to 2 amazing local charities.
The Wadebridge Foodbank - This wonderful trust helps people in need in padstow and the surrounding areas. Despite being a thriving holiday destination to live in our area of Cornwall can be a real struggle and we want to ensure that the local community is supported and locals that have been living here for generations can continue to do so. Our other Charity is The Devon Environment Foundation - This charity works relentlessly to protect and restore Devon's outstanding natural beauty. They work alongside other funds and partners on regeneration projects that will protect our environment for generations to come.

We know that we really rely on tourism and the visitors that come to Devon and Cornwall to keep us in business and the reason that tourists come to our local areas is because of the locals and the local area, so this is our way to give something back and to ensure that these will still be here way beyond Aloft's exsistence and for many more generations to enjoy in the future.
