January can always be a dark and depressing month, the excitment of Christmas is over and you're left with the diminished bank account and a feeling of having to kick start your year with something exciting and positive.
Well at Aloft we have very exciting news, Kim - who you will all know if you've been in our Padstow store, and Beth (the woman behind the buying and product) have had a fantastic opportunity and are now Part-Owners of the store.
We have some great plans for Aloft for 2020, we want to make it the destination stop off when everyone comes to visit Padstow, and then also offer our personal service via our website for all of those that can't get down to Cornwall to visit us.
We are going to strive to keep our offering of products as sustainable and eco friendly as possible working with brands that know the origin of their products and are committed to creating classic and long-lasting products that arent 'Fast Fashion'. Brands that are local and European to ensure their carbon footprint is kept to the minimum.
We also want to keep our beach vibe in store, and hope to bring you fun and unusual items for your holidays and holiday homes in Cornwall. Gifts and accessories that you can't find in your average high street store.
So we hope you will join us on our journey for 2020, we've lots of exciting projects and products in the pipeline. Some more of our own brand styles, and we will be stocking some new brands that we are really excited about.
