Nautical style, a Spring essential

Nautical Style

As Summer draws nearer, and we are venturing outside more and more - we can start getting excited about one of our favourite trends for the Spring Summer - Nautical.

Mixing together simple shapes in Navy and white creates really classic, timeless outfits. You can mix a striped breton or knitted top with a clean navy chino or short, or go for a full striped dress worn with simple sandals. The key is to keep things simple and stick to 2 or 3 solid colours.

Here in Padstow and Salcombe you can't go far without seeing a breton stripe! Whether your spending time on the beach at Rock, boating in Salcombe harbour or enjoying lunch at one of Rick Stein’s restaurants or Jack & Will’s, a nautical stripe is a timeless style for coastal living. The casual, crisp style looks especially fresh in the Spring and Summer when the sun is out and shining - just don't spill any ice-cream down it!

Of course we have lots of items online that work for this trend, Holebrook has some great striped knitwear, jersey dresses and tees. You can accessorize with a Roka London blue tote, or even a fab blue scarf - perfect for Summer outfits.

Have a look below where we have pulled together some of the key pieces from our range, everything you see is online. For you staycation and weekends away by the sea, Aloft has you covered.
