We have exciting news, we will soon be opening a new Aloft Beachwares shop at Trevisker garden centre.
Based up at Trevisker Farm on the main road into Padstow, we will be taking on one of the huts inside their retail space (previously occupied by Blossom Clothing)
We are really excited to become a part of the family up there, as well as to be able to kick back off this Summer trading with a bang! Trevisker is a great place and the farm has been a part of the Padstow landscape for many years, and we feel very lucky to be invited to open up a new store there.
It's in the early stages of a fit out at the moment, but we are splashing our signature turquoise paint all over the shop, and making it feel like a beach hut you'd find along the coast.
We will be keeping the 2 stores slighlty different, the one at Trevisker is our Beachwares shop, so the perfect stop for items you might need for a day at the beach, sunglasses, a beach towel, a kaftan to pop on after your dip in the sea? Buckets and spades? Pop in on your way past, and see whats on offer. The main store in Padstow town will be our full range of clothing, accessories and gifts.
If you've not yet been to Trevisker then you are missing a trick. The garden centre stocks plants that have either been grown onsite, or come from local suppliers, their speciality is coastal tolerant plants, which basically means plants that can stand up to the Cornish wind and exposure! They also have a fantastic cafe (currently a take-away and shop), and a gift shop.
They also have a really positive green way of thinking, growing their plants as naturally as possible using no heat, minimal chemicals and a good peat reduced compost. They also stock a wide range of gravel, compost, eco friendly fertilisers and plant foods, tools, seeds etc etc. We hope to really learn from them going forwards as we make our shop more green, and look to bring in brands and products that make a smaller impact on the environment and last beyond the normal fashion seasons.
As part of the extended family we will also be joined by Padstow Coffee Company, and there is also a pet shop and florist already establised there. So we hope if you are in the local area that you can call in and say hi, take it the long extended views around Padstow and Rock and see whats on offer.
We will be opening at Trevisker next week, once we have finished fitting out the space and all of our Covid safety measures are in place. Then it will be open everyday of the week.
Our shop down in Padstow will be opening towards the end of July..... more news to come on how we will make this a safe and relaxing place to shop whilst we have social distancing restrictions in place.
