Padstow Inspiration

We love Padstow. There are so many places to visit, spend time and unwind. The following are some of our favorites....

Beach walks

St George’s Well

In Padstow we are lucky enough to be surrounded by 7 beautiful bays so there are plenty of lovely beach walks to choose from. If you’re looking for one that can be easily accessed on foot, one of our favourites is just around the harbour from our shop.

Simply take the pathway that leads on up the slope by the gallery and follow it all the way along towards the monument on the top of the hill taking in the beautiful views of the estuary and you will come to a little pathway leading down into a dip where you will find a little pathway leading down to the beach. This is known locally as St George’s Well and at low tide there is a massive expanse of sand left behind for you to walk along all the way round to Hawkers Cove where you will see the Old lifeboat station along with the old fisherman’s cottages.

Our favorite lunch

Sabzi

Just up the road from our shop on Duke Street you will find a beautiful little deli called Sabzi. With a different menu daily, they use sustainable ingredients to make their fresh and tasty dishes and you can grab one of their lunchboxes to takeaway and eat around the harbour (there are a couple of small tables available inside if you’re lucky enough to find one free).

They also serve delicious coffee and a choice of tasty homemade sweet treats to enjoy. Try it you will not be disappointed.
